Home grown enthusiasm

Growing up in Greendale provided me with wonderful opportunities to take in the nature around us. From the serene pools of the Great Blue Heron Reserve to the flurry of activity the salmon run brings to the shores of the Vedder, Chilliwack abounds in natural inspiration. It was learning the gulf of distance between the wonderful flora and fauna around us and the species typically used in commercial land management that inspired the formation of the Cascadian Cryptids.

The Pacific Northwest stands as a unique ecoregion abundant in life not readily available for commercial implementation. By cultivation of our own plants from sustainably sourced wild stock, we can offer plants not available at commercial scale anywhere else in the world!
